在颜色的选取方面，倡议运用白色面料，由于其他颜色的面料经强光映照后颜色会变成黄色或者红色，而白色（通常是漂白或本性）反光性强，相对其他颜色反射性较好故不易呈现变色现象，能更有效维护身体。通常是全棉坯布做成漂白色再去做防火阻燃的后处置。
